Comelec, bidder sign contract despite injunction plea
with SC

It’s all systems go for the country’s first fully automated
elections in 2010.
The Commission on Elections (Comelec) on
Friday signed the multibillion-poll automation contract with the
winning bidder Smartmatic and Total Information Management (TIM)
exactly one month after the project was awarded to the joint
venture.
