Angping eyes revamp in athlete selection

THE PHILIPPINE Sports Commission (PSC) will revamp the process of selecting national athletes that will compete in overseas tournaments.Sports Commission Chairman Harry Angping said his agency will not just rely on the list submitted by national sports associations. He said the PSC will also screen the athletes recommended to be sent for competition abroad.

“The PSC will only send athletes with medal potentials abroad starting with the coming Laos 25th Laos Southeast Asian [SEA] Games,” said Angping over the weekend.
