Senate to look into row 
among sports officials

Sen. Chiz Escudero asked the Senate Wednesday to investigate the ongoing rift between leaders of the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) and the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC), saying this rivalry had stalled the selection of the Philippine team for the upcoming Southeast Asian Games in Laos.

“This rivalry could doom the chances of the country’s athletes in the 25th Southeast Asian Games in Laos this December,” he said.
