Samahang Basketbol gets FIBA recognition
|

The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas is now recognized by the FIBA as
the country’s national sports association for basketball.
Noli Eala, the executive director of the
Samahang Basketbol, said on Wednesday that the no-show of its rival,
the Basketball Association of the Philippines (BAP), effectively
“killed” the 70-year-old sports association.
