Mario Tanchangco, chief of
mission to the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, said statistics should
not be the barometer on how the Filipino athletes would fare in the
upcoming 25th SEA Games this December.
Tanchangco, also the president of
the sepak takraw association, pointed out that the athletes have yet
to achieve their full potential and they are expected to peak during
the biennial conclave slated from December 9 to 18 in the city of
Vientiane.
