Higher medal haul projected

Mario Tanchangco, chief of mission to the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, said statistics should not be the barometer on how the Filipino athletes would fare in the upcoming 25th SEA Games this December.

Tanchangco, also the president of the sepak takraw association, pointed out that the athletes have yet to achieve their full potential and they are expected to peak during the biennial conclave slated from December 9 to 18 in the city of Vientiane.
