Chinese-Taipei B pushes RP 5 to the limit

Even against a second rate team, the Powerade Team Pilipinas had to dig deeper into its bag of tricks before escaping with a hard-earned 94-90 win over Chinese-Taipei-B on Saturday in the 31st William Jones Cup at the Hsinchuang gym in Taiwan.

It was just good that the Filipinos were able to build an 11-point lead, 92-81, going into the final 2:56 of the match where the good defensive ploy of the Chinese limited them to only two points.
