Noli wants GMA’s support

But ‘Kabayan’won’t ask for endorsement

Vice President Noli de Castro said on Tuesday that he would welcome any endorsement by President Gloria Arroyo should he decide to run for president in the 2010 elections.

There have been speculations that de Castro was wary of getting too identified with President Arroyo because of her unpopularity, at least according to opinion surveys. The Vice President saying that he was open to her endorsement effectively rebutted those speculations.
