The little-known life of stuntmen

There’s always a reality behind the illusion.Kicking, punching, falling from a cliff,jumping from the tenth floor of a building, climbing from the underneath of a moving truck—these are some of the thrilling scenes we see in action films. When we watch movies, we admire the director and the actors but the real people behind these death-defying acts are the stuntmen.

Stuntmen are professionals who take the place of actors in risky scenes. Among the pioneers of professional stuntmen training in the Philippines are Andy Lora and Bandido Sorima. The duo started their careers with the SOS Daredevils, the first stunt men group in the Philippines.
