JPE seeks mass action versus abusive telcos

Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile called Tuesday on all consumers with “disappearing” pre-paid loads in their cell phones to lodge their complaints in his office so the Senate could draft remedial legislation to protect them. Enrile said in a privileged speech that the day after newspapers came out with a report on his disappearing prepaid load, he received a “flood of calls and texts” from alleged victims of the same thing.
