NGO denounces ‘food blockade’ in South |

Evacuees insist, ‘Justice delayed is justice
denied; food delayed is food denied as well’

|
COTABATO CITY: The Mindanao Peoples’ Caucus (MPC) on Tuesday
denounced the continuing food blockade imposed by the military in
some of the embattled towns of Maguindanao province.
In a statement sent to The Manila Times, the
group claimed receiving complaints from humanitarian agencies and
from leaders of the internally displaced persons or evacuees that
the military is undermining relief operations by dictating when
and how much relief should come in to the evacuation sites.

BAGUIO CITY: Councilor Betty Lourdes Tabanda on Monday asked the
members of the Baguio City Police Office headed by Police Senior
Supt. Enrique Salapong and other concerned agencies here to
implement the penal provisions of the law banning the display and
sale of sex videos in the city.
