San Miguel to realign banking unit’s thrust

SAN Miguel Corp. (SMC) said Monday that it is aligning the operations of its banking unit with the food and beverage giant’s new business directions.

In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, Ramon Ang, SMC president, said he sees opportunities for Bank of Commerce (BOC) to work cooperatively with the conglomerate’s new businesses.
