The Pussycat Dolls live in Manila

After weeks of anticipation, the Pussycat Dolls (PCD) Manila concert finally came about at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds on Tuesday. Sans PCD Jessica Sutta who was reportedly recuperating from a fractured rib she sustained from a previous performance, the group performed sultry, upbeat numbers in front of thousands of screaming fans.

Unlike their concerts in other countries where they employed such artists as Lady Gaga to usher in their performance, the PCD’s second Philippine concert kicked off without any front acts. Instead, half-Filipino lead singer Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts, Melody Thornton, and Kimberly Wyatt were superimposed on a video wall portraying girls on motorbikes riding past famous landmarks such as the Taj Majal in India, the Burj Al Arab in Dubai and the Egyptian Pyramids.
