Mayor, vice mayor charged before Ombudsman for
stay of oil depots |

AFTER pushing for the stay of the Manila Oil depots, Manila Mayor
Alfredo Lim and Vice Mayor Isko Moreno are facing criminal and
administrative charges before the Office of the Ombudsman.
Officers and members
of the group Advocates for Environmental and Social Justice (AESJ)
charged Lim and Moreno of endangering the lives of some 90,000
residents of Pandacan, Manila, by allowing oil depots to continue
operating near residential premises.
