Respect President’s plan to run–Ermita
|

President Gloria Arroyo running for a seat in the House of
Representatives merely means that she was out to get immunity from
various criminal and administrative complaints expected to be filed
against her once her term expires in 2010, Sen. Pia Cayetano said
Thursday.
Cayetano was reacting to reports that President
Arroyo would run for congressman in her home province of Pampanga
and that her son, Rep. Juan Miguel “Mikey” Arroyo, would give
way to her and run for governor instead. He represents the Second
District of Pampanga. His mother supposedly wants that seat for
herself.
