Haunting, ethereal, and
unforgettable, Sugar Hiccup returns. But they aren’t just going
back. They are going further, farther and deeper. This time, they
offer new songs with more soul, depth and meaning—music that
touches a nerve, raises the hairs on your skin and makes you feel.
Best know for minimalist lyrics
in imaginary languages, soaring vocal pyrotechnics and atmospheric
arrangements, Sugar Hiccup has been responsible for indie rock
classics such as “Five Years,” “Moden De,” “Bleed” and
“Awa.” Since it first formed in 1994, Sugar Hiccup has won the
Katha Music Awards, the Awit Awards and the NU Rock Awards. Not bad
for a band that earned its cult following the hard way with upstart
gigs at the old Club Dredd.
