Court gives go-signal to prosecute Mike Arroyo |
|

THE Court of Appeals, with finality, has given the go signal to a
lower court to proceed with its prosecution of Jose Miguel
“Mike” Arroyo, the husband of President Gloria Arroyo, in
connection with a P12.5 million class suit for damages filed by a
group of journalists and media organizations.
The Court of Appeals former Seventh Division, in
a seven-page decision penned by Associate Justice Fernanda Lampas
Peralta, junked the petition of Arroyo that sought stop Branch 43 of
the Makati City Regional Trial Court from hearing the said case.
