Clinton leaves for
Mideast, Europe to soothe allies
|
|
WASHINGTON, D.C.: US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton left for the
Middle East and Europe late Saturday in an attempt to improve
relations with US allies there.
A plane carrying Clinton and her aides took off
from Andrews Air Force Base outside Washington at about 10:50 p.m.
(Sunday morning in Manila).
