Nawaz Sharif defies house arrest order

 
LAHORE, Pakistan: Pakistan’s main opposition leader Nawaz Sharif addressed a crowd gathered outside his home in Lahore on Sunday, defying a police order to remain inside under house arrest.

“We don’t accept this decision. The house arrest is illegal and immoral. All these decisions are unconstitutional,” he told the crowd in a speech broadcast live on Pakistan television channels.
