dimension’ |

“SCIENCE Beyond Science: Bringing Social Dimensions to Basic
Research” was the theme of this year’s annual conference of the
National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP).
More than a thousand scientists deliberated on
possible plans of actions that would cushion the impact of the
global financial crisis on Filipinos and the economy. Their
conclusion: the need to put a human face on basic science.
