Google prime target for regulators

 
Google's unabashed success as an Internet search and advertising juggernaut has placed it in the crosshairs of regulators worried the firm will trample free market competition.

"As Google has grown, the company has naturally faced more scrutiny," Google senior manager of global communications and public affairs Adam Kovacevich said Friday in an official blog post.
