POC challenges ‘warring’ sports leaders

The Philippine Olympic Committee believes that filing a complaint before the International Olympic Committee is a desperate ploy of the ‘replaced officials’ to stay in office and embarrass the institution.

POC spokesperson Joey Roma­santa on Thursday called the move of the alliance of nine embattled national sports associations (NSAs) as ‘unfair,’ since what the national Olympic body merely did was to help them resolve their leadership disputes.
