Teodoro warns SC on writ of amparo |
|

THE decision of the Supreme Court to issue a writ of amparo that
will deter any threat to life, liberty and security of the Balikatan
fund mess whistleblower may back fire on cases involving military
personnel facing charges, the Department of National Defense head
said Friday.
Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro said the High
Court should be more careful in issuing the writ of amparo because
it will open opportunity for members of the military who are facing
charges to resort to similar legal actions.
