By William B. Depasupisl, Reporter
THE Court of Appeals (CA) has ordered the preventive of suspension
of a high-ranking Navy official and nine others pending results of
an administrative investigation against them for alleged fraud in
the disbursement of funds intended for the education and training of
Navy personnel.
The CA’s Special 17th Division, in an 11-page
decision penned by Associate Justice Sesinando Villon, dismissed the
petition for review filed by Rear Admiral Constancio Jardiniano and
his co-accused and affirmed an earlier order by Ombudsman Merceditas
Gutierrez on May 3, 2007, suspending the accused for six-months.
