Senator to Remulla: ‘Land-grabber king’
|
|
By Efren L. Danao, Senior Reporter
Sen. Jamby Madrigal, the complainant in the conflict of interest
case against Sen. Manuel Villar Jr., found herself on Tuesday the
respondent in a case filed before the Senate Committee on Ethics by
former Rep. Gilbert Remulla of Cavite. In a sworn affidavit, Remulla
charged that Madrigal had imputed on him nefarious crimes
with no basis at all.He cited a recent ABS-CBN interview with Madrigal
where she said: “Nagugulat ako kung bakit nakikialam si Gilbert
Remulla dito. Siya’y isang lintik na itik na talunan na manok ni
Villar. Siya ‘yung talunan king. He will never win in Congress.
He’ll never win in the Senate. Siguro, maski councilor itakbo niya
yong talunan king na si Gilbert Remulla hindi na mananalo kasi sa
bulok siya pumapasok, sa bulok siya sumasama. Yung king of
corruption na si Villar ngayon meron isang puputak putak siyang
galamay na corruption king ng Cavite si Gilbert Remulla. Corruption
king of Cavite, Gilbert Remulla, mahiya ka.”
