‘Mikey’ Arroyo charged before Ombudsman

CRIMINAL charges were filed on Thursday before the Office of the Ombudsman by a militant group against presidential son and Pampanga Rep. Juan Miguel “Mikey” Arroyo for his alleged non-declaration of the true worth of his assets and unexplained wealth.

The Confederation for Unity, Recognition and Advancement of Government Employees (Courage) in its seven-page complaint-affidavit has asked the Office of the Ombudsman to order Rep. Arroyo to explain how his net worth “suddenly ballooned to a staggering P61.8 million in 2005” from zero in his first year in public office.
