Teodoro, Bayani on list of likely 2010 candidates

Vice President Noli de Castro was not one of those being considered
by Lakas-Kampi Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD) to be the
administration party’s standard-bearer in the 2010 elections,
Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita said.
“Well, the aspirants [that we are looking at]
on our radar screen are only two—Secretary Teodoro and Chairman
Fernando,” Ermita said during an interview over dzRH radio on
Thursday. Teodoro is Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro and Fernando
is Chairman Bayani Fernando of the Metropolitan Manila Development
Authority (MMDA). Both had announced their bids for Malacañang.
