Estrada admits extreme dislike for civil society
|
|
By Francis Earl A. Cueto, Correspondent
Speaking ahead of his camp’s supposed “unity talks” with
officials of the Liberal Party (LP), former President Joseph
“Erap” Estraxada on Friday described as “conspirators” the
supporters of Sen. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino 3rd, the party’s
standard-bearer in the 2010 elections.
“[I do not like] the conspiracy of this
elitist, so-called civil society. And Noynoy is surrounded by people
[from this group whom] I can’t get along with,” Estrada said of
the backers of the Liberal Party’s presidential candidate, the
only son of late former President Corazon “Cory” Aquino and late
former Sen. Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr.
