SC gives preneed firm CAP another lease on life |

THE Supreme Court has given embattled preneed firm College Assurance
Plan (CAP) another chance to reestablish itself and settle its
obligations to its planholders.
The Supreme Court Third Division, in a 32-page
decision penned by Associate Justice Diosdado Peralta, affirmed an
earlier ruling by Judge Romeo Barza of Branch 61 of the Regional
Trial Court (RTC) of Makati, which granted CAP’s petition for
rehabilitation.
