Puentevella gets 45-day extension to submit documents to COA
|
|
Rep. Monico Puentevella of Bacolod City has 45 more working days
to liquidate the P50.50 million in cash advances used for the
city’s hosting of five events during the 2005 Southeast Asian
Games.
Reynaldo Villar, chairman of Commission on Audit
(COA), granted the extension requested by Puentevella “to resubmit
and possibly reconstruct the documents relative to the liquidation
of the Bacolod Southeast Asian Games Organizing Committee [BASOC]—related
cash advances that were previously submitted to the Philippine
Sports Commission [PSC].”
