Melodic, memorable and influential is the music of Peter, Paul and Mary whose songs were the anthems of the Sixties and Seventies, and that had become classics. No literate music library is complete without their albums.

In the Sixties, Filipinos woke up to the music of the wonderful trio, many took up guitar lessons and learned how to sing harmony singing along with them. Folk singing became the rage in Metro Manila pubs and the few coffeehouses.
