The National Bureau of Investigation on Thursday formed a fact-finding team that will
probe the alleged involvement of Cebu-based businessman Peter Lim in illegal drugs.

Lim personally went to the NBI headquarters in Manila yesterday afternoon. He was accompanied by his lawyer Ramon Esguerra.

They held a closed-door meeting with Noel Bolivar, head of the NBI’s Anti-Illegal Drugs Task Force.

Lim was one of the three alleged top drug lords identified by President Rodrigo Duterte.

The businessman met with the President in Davao last week to deny the allegation. He was advised by Duterte to surrender to the NBI.

The other two are Wu Tuan alias Peter Co and Herbert Colangco, who are both behind bars.
