The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) now owns the Manila Metropolitan Theater (Met), a national cultural treasure, after the deed of absolute sale was signed on June 11 at the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) Office.
The DBM released P270 million from the National Endowment Fund for Culture and the Arts (NEFCA) for the sale of the Met from GSIS.
