• NCR, nearby provinces suspend Friday classes due to bad weather

    Due to continuous rains brought about by Tropical Storm “Kabayan”, local governments in Metro Manila and nearby Luzon provinces suspended classes on Friday (Oct. 2).

    In its Facebook account, the Department of Education said the following local government units and areas who have cancelled classes in both public and private schools are the following:

    Las Pinas City
    City of Manila
    Quezon City
    Pasay City
    Valenzuela City
    Pateros
    San Juan City
    Paranaque City
    Mandaluyong City
    Taguig City
    Navotas City
    Caloocan City
    Marikina City
    Makati City
    Pasig City

    Baguio City
    Benguet
    REGION I
    La Union
    Pangasinan
    REGION III
    Bataan
    Castillejos, Zambales
    San Felipe, Zambles
    Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija
    Olongapo City
    San Jose del Monte, Bulacan

    REGION IV-A
    Antipolo City, Rizal
    Morong, Rizal
