BAGUIO CITY: The Department of Social Welfare and Development-Cordillera Administrative Region (DSWD-CAR) disbursed a total of P13,287,000 under the Social Pension Program (SPP) for 8,941 indigent senior citizens in the region for the first quarter of this year.
Regional Director Leonardo Reynoso said that the SSP distribution is intended to augment the basic needs of the senior citizens, including medicine and other nutritional and health needs.
