THE Rustan’s East Café venue was dominated with bright red decors last October 1 during the launch of HSBC Red MasterCard. Their newest red credit card is expected to soon become the new best friend of chic and sophisticated ladies who love to shop.
To celebrate its introduction, the launch was headed by HSBC president and chief executive office
r Wick Veloso, MasterCard country head Poch Villa-Real, and Rustan Commercial Corporation executive vice president and SSI president Anton Huang, together with HSBC head of Retail Banking and
Wealth Management Gigi Pio de Roda, vice president for Card Products and Customer Value Management Anya Katigbak-Cajucom, and Vice President for Customer Value
Management Jasmine Alansalon.
Also gracing the event were Rustan’s
execs Mike Huang, Sevrine Miailhe, and Dina Arroyo-Tantoco; MasterCard’s Judith Dayrit, Ailea Zialcita, and Chris Paraiso; and Bulgari’s Mario Katigbak.
The event program was also made interesting with the hosting of the
young and pretty real-life best friends Patti Grandidge and Xandra Rocha. It was the HSBC executives who presented the card to the invited guests, among which were women of style who embodied chic sophistication.

The launch took a red-hot turn when Tessa Prieto-Valdes, who dazzled in red from head to toe, joined Gigi Pio de Roda in presenting the card’s exciting features. She also discussed her shopping adventures with the card, of which she was a long-time endorser.
True to the event’s theme of friendship, HSBC gave away a friendship bracelet from premier jewelry brand Tiffany & Co. Guests were also treated to an afternoon of pampering at a custom HSBC lounge at Rustan’s, with sweet delights and tea from TWG as well as treatments from top skincare brands Clarins, Dermalogica,
Finally, invitees brought home a travel kit from the makeup brand Benefit.
