As Potted Potter returns for the third time, it stirs up a cauldron-full of excitement for fans in the Philippines, the country being its first-ever and only Asian destination.

The new duo of Benjamin Stratton and James Percy headline the show’s limited run from September 30 to October 5 at the RCBC’s Carlos P. Romulo Theater in Makati City, taking on the ultimate challenge of condensing all seven Harry Potter books (and a real life game of Quidditch) into 70 hilarious minutes.

Ben and James, performing in their very first Manila season fresh from their September stints in Dubai, Singapore and Hong Kong, will ensure once more that Potted Potter’s evolving charm and massive appeal is kept fresh through spontaneity and humor.

With a script constantly adapting to brilliantly match the unique wit and quirk of each new Potted Potter actor, audiences can expect fresher takes on characters from the magical adventures found within the more than 4,000 pages of the seven-book series. It will definitely be an experience to see which trending Manila social hoopla or media celebrity slip-up will eventually worm its way into the repertoire.

Potted Potter further delights audiences as it casts a spell through its hurricanes of costume changes, flurries of wig and headdress transformations, and outbursts of animated accent transitions—all done as the two-man cast shift from major to minor magical characters ranging from Albus to Wormtail!

Created by double Olivier Award Best Entertainment nominees Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner in 2005, the show is a must-see for Potter addicts and a great introduction to the series for anyone who’s ever wondered what all the fuss is about.

Potted Potter 2014 is presented by Potted Productions, Lunchbox Theatrical Productions and Concertus Manila. For tickets and performance schedules, call TicketWorld at 891-9999 or visit www.TicketWorld.com.ph.
