The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has monitored another weather disturbance forming in the Pacific Ocean.
”We are seeing another weather disturbance in the Pacific Ocean, but it is possible that it may dissipate,” PAGASA Weather Forecaster Jori Loiz said in a press conference on Monday.
He said it is too early to predict whether it will become a typhoon.
If it enters the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and continues to become a Low Pressure Area (LPA), it will be named “Senang”.
PAGASA Officer-in-Charge Deputy for Operations and Services Landrico Dalida Jr. said the weather disturbance is passing through the same route as tropical storm “Ruby”.
However, he said the weather disturbance may head towards northern Luzon.
