New World Manila Bay Hotel officially launched its Christmas fundraising campaign for the benefit of children with cancer and chronic illness in partnership with Kythe Foundation during its tree lighting ceremony on November 27.
The symbolic event was spearheaded by the hotel’s General Manager Mark Heywood, Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada, Kythe Foundation Board of Trustee Dr. Kelly Salvador, and Kythe Foundation Goodwill Ambassador Say Alonzo, together with Kythe foundation children.
“In the spirit of spreading love and good cheer, we encourage everyone to help shed hope for hospitalized children with serious ailments. During the course of the holiday season, we aim to gather funds and reach out to children in need through Kythe Foundation, the 22-year non-government organization specializing in psycho-social and pediatric care for children with long-term illness,” said Heywood.
Guests can purchase roasted chestnuts and Make-A-Wish Christmas tree ornaments, and drop their donations for Kythe Foundation at the holiday wishing well situated at the lobby area until the January 1, 2016.
