NEW ZEALAND PM CALLS SEPTEMBER 20 ELECTION

WELLINGTON: New Zealand Prime Minister John Key on Monday called a general election for September 20, when his center-right government will seek a third term in office on a platform of strong economic management. An opinion poll last month gave Key’s National party 51 percent of the vote, with the center-left Labour Party on 34 percent and the Greens on eight.
