NGCP, MTRCB partner to protect power lines

THE National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP), the operator of the country’s power transmission network, and the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) joined forces to affirm their partnership in disseminating the grid operator’s advocacy on transmission line safety and protection, and guarding against right-of-way (ROW) violations.

The partnership was formalized on Thursday through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the agencies, with NGCP represented by Board Director and Chief Administrative Officer Anthony Almeda, and MTRCB by Chairman Eugenio Villareal.
