The Inter-Agency Task Force on Securing Energy Facilities (IATFSEF), headed by the Department of Energy (DOE), announced that it has successfully restored Tower No. 25 in Lanao del Sur, connecting the generated power from Agus Hydroelectric Plant Units 1 and 2.
Restoration of the facility allows the grid operator to transmit the electricity produced by state-owned Agus 1 and Agus 2 hydro power plants, with a combined installed capacity of 260MW, to the rest of the Mindanao grid.
