nismowatch20131105SO, it’s not a mechanical timepiece but a lithium battery-powered “smartwatch.” Nissan says it will become the first carmaker to build such a thing (if it does proceed to). It connects the driver to the car to provide biometric data via a heart-rate monitor; track average speed and fuel consumption readings; access vehicle telematics and performance data; and link the car via Bluetooth smart phone app. Nissan bills the watch “wearable technology,” and it’s available in black, white and the flagship black and red colors.
