• No campaigning at Panagbenga


    BAGUIO CITY: Mayor Mauricio Domogan said they are expecting a million tourist arrivals this weekend for the annual Panagbenga festival that showcases various highland and lowland flowers in a float parade. Domogan also warned politicians who will join the parade against shaking hands with the people in crowd, as well as banners and flyers which are prohibited. Andrew Pinero, Panagbenga organizer, said there will be 22 street dance group participants, but four are not competing, while of the 23 flower floats, three will not compete.
