NO CAPITOL WORK, NO CLASSES ON FRIDAY

ILOILO CITY: The Iloilo Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) through a resolution passed on Thursday morning has suspended work at the provincial government and classes in all levels for both public and private schools on Friday because of the threats of Typhoon Yolanda. Vice Gov. Raul Tupas of Iloilo said that they are suspending work at the capitol on Friday in anticipation of the onslaught of Yolanda that is expected to make landfall in Iloilo City and province on the same day. Included in the resolution is the suspension of classes in all levels to ensure the safety of the schoolchildren.
