The Wack Wack Golf and Country Club announced that it would scrutinize every detail of the incident that happened on April 6, at the club’s registration office where Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Mar Roxas 2nd allegedly shouted expletives at a staff.
“So far, we are still reviewing the DILG Secretary’s letter and we are still evaluating if we’re going to sanction him based on the report also of our employees. As of this moment, there is still no decision yet,” Wack Wack Golf and Country Club President Philip Ella Juico told The Manila Times in a phone interview.
Juico is scheduled to meet some members of the club including membership committee head Federico Campos and general manager Francisco Legarda to discuss the matter.
Juico is the husband of Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office Chairman Margie Juico, an appointee of President Benigno Aquino 2nd. Aquino was the running mate of Roxas in the 2010 presidential election.

Roxas, for his part, denied cursing any staff and has already apologized to his “Wack Wack family” for what he considered a “misunderstanding.”
