No drug kills this time, only dawn stings in Baguio


BAGUIO CITY: Four alleged shabu pushers were arrested in separate operations here. First to fall in the drug sting was Micahel Edmar Basilio, 33, alias “Ken”, a native of Kaingin in Meycauayan, Bulacan who was caught selling two small sachets of shabu worth P18,000. Next to fall was Reynaldo Nuda de Castro from Balagtas, Bulacan residing at West Quirino Hill and who sold a sachet of shabu to poseur buyer. He yielded another sachet amounting to P27,000. Police also nabbed Jimmy Velasco Geronimo from Guimba in Nueva Ecija after selling .85 grams of shabu worth P15,300 to an undercover agent. Last to fall was Alex Apao delos Santos, 32, of Patucannay in Tayum, Abra, with three sachets of shabu worth P27,000 sold to a poseur buyer. At least 20 drug suspects were killed in the city allegedly by unidentified assassins, while only six were slain during legitimate police operation since July this year.
