No Filipino casualties in Russian plane crash


NO Filipino was hurt or killed in the plane crash in Russia that resulted to the death of all 62 passengers on Saturday morning. “It is confirmed that there are no Filipinos among the fatalities in the plane crash,” Department of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Charles Jose told GMA News. According to reports, the Flydubai jet bound for Russia crashed on its second attempt to land at the airport. Fifty-five of the fatalities were passengers while seven were crewmembers. Authorities have yet to determine the exact cause of the crash. They are looking into several reasons including crew error, technical failure or bad weather conditions.
