THE Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Monday said that no Filipino casualties have been reported in the areas affected by the massive floods and landslides triggered by the record heavy rainfall in Japan over the weekend.
“No reports so far of Filipino fatalities in the areas affected by the massive floods and landslides that came after the western region was pounded by record heavy rainfall over the weekend,” the DFA said in a statement based on a report submitted by the consulate general in Osaka.
