The Department of Foreign Affairs on Thursday confirmed that there was no Filipino passenger aboard a Taiwanese airliner that crashed late Wednesday night.
Trans-Asia Airways flight ATR-72 was carrying 58 passengers and crew when it crashed off a tiny island while trying to land during bad weather. At least 47 were reported killed and 11 others injured.
