THE Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) on Friday said that both rail systems were on normal operations on Friday as there were no “Undas” or All Saints’ Day breaks for their employees.
However, the agency said Line 1 ran on a shorter period than the usual.
LRTA spokesman Hernando Cabrera said Line 1 had cut its last trips by 30 minutes to give its employees some sort of break and for longer maintenance operations.
“November 1 and 2: LRT 2 [has]no change. LRT 1 last train schedule from Baclaran 9 p.m., for Roosevelt at 9:30 p.m.,” Cabrera said.
On regular weekdays, the first train leaves both end terminals at 5 a.m. The last trips for the Baclaran to Roosevelt route is at 9:30 p.m., while the Roosevelt to Baclaran at 10 p.m.
During weekends, the first train departs both end terminals also at 5 a.m., while the last trips from Baclaran to Roosevelt is at 9 p.m., Roosevelt to Baclaran at 9:30 p.m..
LRT 2, on the other hand, has its first trips at 5 a.m. Its last trip from Santolan to Recto is at 9:30 p.m., while the last trip, from Recto to Santolan, is at 10 p.m.
